Cloudera has launched the latest edition of Cloudera Data Services, delivering Private AI directly into enterprise data centres. This release combines the security of in-house infrastructure with GPU-accelerated generative AI, keeping sensitive data within the firewall.
Security remains the biggest hurdle for many organisations. According to Accenture, 77% are missing the core security frameworks needed to protect AI models, pipelines, and cloud assets.
The new capabilities help enterprises cut infrastructure costs, streamline operations, and achieve faster deployment. Cloud-native agility is now possible within a fully secured on-premises setting.
Key highlights include the in-data centre availability of:
- Cloudera AI Inference Service – One of the first to integrate NVIDIA NIM microservices for high-performance, on-premises AI model deployment and lifecycle management.
- Cloudera AI Studios – A low-code platform enabling teams to quickly build and deploy generative AI tools and agents.
Forrester Consulting’s Total Economic Impact™ report, commissioned by Cloudera, found that organisations implementing the solution saw an 80% acceleration in workload deployment, 20% higher productivity for data teams, and a 35% cost reduction. Hardware efficiency climbed from 30% to 70%, with capacity needs falling by up to 50%.
“Historically, enterprises have been forced to cobble together complex, fragile DIY solutions to run their AI on-premises,” said Sanjeev Mohan, industry analyst. “Today the urgency to adopt AI is undeniable, but so are the concerns around data security. What enterprises need are solutions that streamline AI adoption, boost productivity, and do so without compromising on security.”

“Cloudera Data Services On-Premises delivers a true cloud-native experience on-premises, providing agility and efficiency without sacrificing security or control,” said Leo Brunnick, Cloudera’s Chief Product Officer. “This release is a significant step forward in data modernization, moving from monolithic clusters to a suite of agile, containerized applications.”
“BNI is proud to be an early adopter of Cloudera’s AI Inference service,” stated Toto Prasetio, Chief Information Officer of BNI. “This technology provides the essential infrastructure to securely and efficiently expand our generative AI initiatives, all while adhering to Indonesia’s dynamic regulatory environment. It marks a significant advancement in our mission to offer smarter, quicker, and more dependable digital banking solutions to the people of Indonesia.”
By merging AI innovation with robust data security, Cloudera enables enterprises to shorten the journey from prototype to production dramatically.
