On Saturday, 9th August, the Orient Travel Monthly Stableford once again attracted a strong turnout, with members braving the sweltering summer temperatures to compete. Backed by the Saudi Tourism Authority, the event remains a firm favourite on the calendar, offering a superb selection of prizes from our valued sponsors.
The day’s standout performance came from Bimal Jain, who showcased some of his best golf of the year. With eight net birdies on his card, he finished three-under-par for a total of 39 Stableford points, claiming first place and walking away with top-quality prizes courtesy of the sponsors.
A close contender was Rajesh Pareek, whose excellent round of 36 points might have secured victory on another occasion. This time, however, it was enough for a thoroughly deserved runner-up position.
Third place went to Ajaz Ahmed, whose steady and reliable play once again earned him a podium finish with 36 points.
In the Gross Division, Amiya Ranjan topped the leaderboard with a solid 27 points, securing the final award of the day.
